You are invited to our annual Christmas Open House at the Museum & Archives on Tuesday, December 9 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM.  The  Christmas season is always a good time to gather with friends, enjoy some homemade goodies, see our latest exhibits and do some Christmas shopping in our gift shop.

Thanks to the Friends of Wakulla Springs, we have items such as musical snow globes, small snow globes, banks, picture frames, and other items with manatees, bears and eagles.  The gift shop at Wakulla Springs is going out of business and the Friends very kindly donated these items to help WCHS raise funds.  We also have several new books of local history including “Remembering Florida’s Forgotten Coast” by J. Kent Thompson and “Apalachicola Before 1861” by Harry P. Owens.

And remember to pick up your WCHS 2014 Christmas ornament.  This limited edition ornament features the Willie Spears house in Spring Creek.  As you can see by the attached photograph, this ornament is really pretty.
